It is with great sadness that we announce that Sherri Lynne Phillips passed away at the age of 50 years, peacefully at home on July 30, 2021. Sherri will be lovingly remembered by her mother Marjorie Candlish; step father Gordon Candlish; sons Dillon and Jordan of British Columbia; daughters Crystal and Natasha of British Columbia; brothers Daniel and James of British Columbia; and Cameron Oberton long time closest friend. Sherri was predeceased by her father Leslie Wayne Phillips and step mother Gwen Phillips. Sherri was born on September 4, 1970 in Nanaimo, British Columbia. She worked as a health care aide in her younger years; then left to pursue a driving career, taxi, limo and Nanaimo Seaporter Ferry Bus, to name a few. Sherri moved from British Columbia to reside in St. Norbert. She loved to travel, to cook, music and she had a passion for singing. Thanks to all the health care workers and all of my close family and friends, for all your love and support. Thank you also to Dr. Megan Jack; the Palliative Health Care Team; and the MAID team in Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, if you so desire, donations in Sherri’s name, may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
