It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Warren James Mark, beloved husband of Patricia, father of Melanie (Reid Sly) and grandfather to Sebastian. Warren left us at the age of 67, just shy of his 68th birthday, on July 29, 2022. He was predeceased by his father George in 2013 and mother Florence in 2010. Warren is also survived by his brothers Tom (Susan) and Doug (Tina) and nephew Nigel. He is also fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Sharon Chmuhalek, father-in-law Ed and all of the Chmuhalek family. Warren was the highly successful owner-operator of Benjamin Moore representative Park City Paint in Transcona for several years. He realized his talent for art and design at an early age, taking a job with Rainbow Stage, painting sets. Through the following years he developed his business and paint knowledge working with other companies including Color Your World, Western Paint and Para Paint. Warren had a keen eye for design and was well respected by his clients for his knowledge, attention to detail and professional acumen. He happily and often offered his experience and knowledge as a mentor. Warren was raised in St. Vital, attending Glenlawn Collegiate, but spent much of his life in Transcona. He had various interests including sports ranging from hockey to football and lacrosse-of which he coached a youth team in Transcona. He gave of himself freely, enjoyed a good sense of humour with great character and personality. Warren will be dearly missed by family, friends and associates, but his spirit will not be forgotten. No funeral will be held. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Fly High Warren, Fly High. Rest in Peace.
