Obituary of Terrance Cameron Alexander

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terrance Cameron Alexander on January 23, 2025, at the age of 72.

Terry leaves to mourn his wife of 47 years, Norma; and daughters Heather (Rob), Jacqueline, and Paula. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory, his 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Doug, and sisters Pat, Karen, and Kristine. He will be remembered fondly by his cousins, nieces, and nephews and numerous friends.

He was predeceased by his parents John and Shirley, and his brothers Jack and Kevin.

Terry was born March 21, 1952, in Winnipeg, Manitoba where he lived for most of his life. He worked in retail where he started as a stock boy and retired after having worked up to regional and district manager.

Family was the most important thing to Terry and he was quick with a smile, laugh, or affectionate and oftentimes humorous nickname, whether you wanted it or not. He was loving, thoughtful, a great storyteller, and incredibly funny. Terry was talented and patient in his hobby of woodworking and he took joy in creating Adirondack chairs to use out at his cabin, one of his favorite places. He loved music, crossword puzzles, and books, and never missed watching a Bombers, Blue Jays, or Winnipeg Jets game.

The family thanks the kind and caring staff at St. Boniface Hospital.

A celebration of his life will be held in his favorite place, his cabin, in the summer. We will miss him and love him forever and hold his memory with us every day.
