Obituary of Matti Helmut Vork

After a lengthy illness we are sad to announce the passing of Matti Vork.

He passed at the Grace hospital on February 4^th 2025. He was 75 years old when he passed away.

He was predeceased by his parents Leida Bonita and August Vork.

He grew up in Thunder Bay then moved to Winnipeg where he worked for CN as an engineer for many years. He enjoyed travelling, playing cards, reading and the outdoors.

He will greatly be missed by his daughters: Candace, Jennifer and Kimberley; and his three sisters Irene, Elaine and Debbie; as well as his many friends at CN.

We would like to thank Tuxedo Villa and the Grace Hospital for taking care of him in his last days.

Matti’s only request was that he be cremated and his ashes spread over Kakabeka Falls.
