Obituary of Michael Anthony Robert Linton

In loving memory of Michael Anthony Robert Linton.

On February 10, 2025, Michael Linton passed away at home surrounded by his wife and daughter.

Michael was gregarious, kind, and funny with a presence that commanded attention. Big Mike or Micky, as he was affectionately known, lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba and St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. He worked many years at Greyhound Canada and spoke fondly of his time travelling across the country.

Michael is loved immensely and will be missed by so many. He leaves behind his wife (Gretel), daughter (Althea), stepson (Joseph), son-in-law (James), granddaughter (Amara), brother (Lloyd), sisters-in-law (Daughn and Nicky), cousins (Fiona and Courtney) and many nieces and nephews.

He also leaves behind an abundance of friends who were more like family including the Russells, Joesphs, Barylskis and Hugh, Gerry, Dave, Val, Emsley, Curtis, Bob, Nori, Keith, Clovis, Conrad, Glaister, Pansy and Carol. He also leaves many friends from his time spent at Munro College, Jamaica.

He was predeceased by his brother (Paul) and his parents.

Congratulations, Michael.

You have entered your place in eternity.
