Obituary of Joanne Sinavich (nee Weselowski)

Sadly, after a brief stay at St. Boniface Hospital, Mom peacefully passed away at the age of ninety-nine.

She leaves behind her daughters Audrey (Russ), Deborah, Cheryl (Randy); grandsons Shane (Shaylynn) and Kyle (Nikki); great grandsons Sam and Jack; and brother Morris (Joan).

She was predeceased by her husband Bill; and by Steve, Adolf, Bill, Mike, Paul, Peter, Tony, Alec, Johnny, Margaret, Eugene and Amelia.

Mom was born in Pine River, Manitoba, to parents David and Anastasia Weselowski

She worked in Winnipeg at the Grain Exchange, until she married and moved to Stead, Manitoba.

Mom loved to garden and made the best preserves.

She was widely known for her cooking and baking skills (the best perogies ever).

She enjoyed helping at Church and community functions, she called bingo Friday nights at the community club,

As per mom’s wishes, no service will be held, 

Mom was cremated and will be laid to rest in her hometown at a later date.
