Obituary of Stephan Arthur Spraggett

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stephan Arthur Spraggett, who passed away with his son by his side on March 8, 2025 at the age of 63.

Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on June 19, 1961, Stephan was a devoted son to Marie and father to Alexander.

Stephan was known for his incredible music abilities and his love for music.  He enjoyed playing the guitar, piano and drums.  His favourite bands and musical artists included Rush, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Frank Zappa and the list goes on.  Stephan played in several bands and thoroughly enjoyed recording music all across Canada.

To say Stephan enjoyed a good burger, is an understatement.  His favorite was the Dairy Whip, Whip Burger.

Stephan enjoyed sports but he loved hockey.

He leaves behind his loving family mother Marie; son Alexander; brothers Gregg and John; nieces Jennifer and family and Ashley and family.

A memorial service will not be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to MCMA - The Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts.
