Bradley Fainman

Obituary of Bradley Saul Fainman

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brad Fainman on April 2, 2025.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl; sons Sean (Brit) and Daniel (Evann); grandson Jack; mother Fagie; brother Shane; sister Karen; as well as extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Brad was predeceased by his father Jack.

Brad had a strong business mind and owned and operated different businesses throughout the years.

Brad loved to travel and was fortunate enough to visit different places in Europe, Asia and South America. He had the pleasure of spending the last few winters in Puerto Vallarta and enjoyed having family and friends spend time there.

He was an avid sports fan and followed the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Jets. He was known to add his own colourful commentary from time to time while watching the games. However, watching both his sons participate in sports gave Brad the most pleasure. He was their biggest fan.

Brad had a passion for playing poker. Over the years he played with different poker groups and always enjoyed the banter and hoped to win a few dollars along the way.

Brad’s greatest joy in life came from his two sons. He was incredibly proud of the them and they provided many special memories for Brad to cherish.

Brad’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of A8 at St. Boniface Hospital for the compassionate care they provided. We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Paul Szelemej for the continuous care, compassion and support he provided to Brad and his family.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks you to support the True North Youth Foundation:
