Obituary of Hermine Lauber

Hermine Emilie Lauber passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025, at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB.  Hermine had celebrated her 97^th birthday on March 31^st.

She is survived by her daughter Heidy and son-in-law Allen, her son-in-law Maurice, her brother Gerhard; her grandchildren, Jarrett (Angie), Conrad (Cami), Devon (Morgan), Kelly, Jesse and Kurt; and her great-grandchildren Amber, Sage, Quinn and Ethan and nieces and nephews.   She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Fred and her two eldest children – Ursula and Ronny.

Hermine was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.  She was one of the kindest loving souls who found something good in every day.  While her children were growing up, she hosted many family events, and her house and cottage were always filled with laughter and love as family gathered from near and far.   She had golden hands – her passions included sewing, knitting, crocheting and gardening in her flower garden.

Live as mom lived – with a smile on your face, love in your heart and peace and happiness in your soul.  She was here ... and now she is gone, the love and kindness she gave will always live on. Rest in Peace Mama.
