Obituary of Judith Ann Helen Rondeau
Judith Ann Helen Rondeau was born on November 19, 1961 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and passed away on May 27, 2025. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, daughter and friend. Her passing has left a profound void in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
Judith was the loving mother of two sons, Doug (Jennifer) and Billy (Vanessa) Maidens. She is survived by her father, Douglas Rondeau, and her mother, Judy Rondeau. Judith also leaves behind six younger sisters and two younger brothers, as well as a host of nieces and nephews who adored her. She was preceded in death by her sons’ father, William “Bill” Ronald Maidens, who passed away on February 6, 2025.
Throughout her life, Judith was known for her unwavering love and devotion to her family. Her soul was marked by her strong maternal instincts, embodying the spirit of nurturing and care that defined her. Judith played a pivotal role in helping all who knew her.
A private Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at a later date to honour Judith’s memory and the impact she had on those around her. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff on ward 2 West at Riverview Health Centre for their genuine compassion and care shown to Judith during the last months of her life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request that donations be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
Judith’s passing has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. Her love, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was loved and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
