Marlene was a true romantic, having married her high school sweetheart, Chris, with whom she shared many beautiful years until his passing. Their love was an inspiration to all who knew them, and Marlene's unwavering devotion to Chris was a testament to the depth of her love.

Marlene had a zest for life and a passion for travel. She loved to travel, and her adventures took her to many beautiful places, creating cherished memories that she held dear. However, her favourite place of all was the family cabin, where she found solace and joy in spending quality time with her loved ones.

One of Marlene's greatest joys in life was her role as a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved son, Logan, and his wife, Shanna, as well as her adored grandchildren, Abby-Lynn, Andrew, and Archer. Marlene's love for her family knew no bounds, and she took great pride in watching her family grow and thrive.

Marlene had a keen eye for design and a passion for decorating, which she poured into her home, creating a warm and inviting space for her family and friends to gather. Her creativity and attention to detail were evident in every corner of her home, and her love for beautifying her surroundings brought joy to all who entered.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in honour of Marlene's memory. This cause was close to her heart, and supporting it would be a fitting tribute to her life and the love she shared with those around her.

Marlene and Chris wished to be honoured in an end-of-life celebration together. This will be held next year, where family and friends will come together to share stories, laughter, and tears in remembrance of a remarkable couple who touched so many lives.
