Obituary of Krista Lianne Milne

Krista Lianne Milne (Campbell) passed away peacefully on April 17, 2024 at the age of 50. 

Krista will be greatly missed by her best friend and loving husband Jared and their children Nicholas and Kyla.

Krista is survived by her mother Carol; grandmother Sadie; siblings Kendra and Brock; mother and father in law Lex and Dave; sister in law Kirsty (Darcy); her nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

Krista was born on May 24, 1973, in Whitehorse, Yukon to Carol and (late) Tom Campbell.

She graduated from Glenlawn Collegiate in 1991. Shortly after high school she met Jared and they were married in Winnipeg on September 28^th, 1996.  In 1998 her most treasured role became a reality, she became a mom to the first grandchild of the family, Nicholas.  Two years later she was blessed yet again with an amazing baby girl Kyla . Krista soon realized that her passion was to be a great wife and mother. Krista dedicated her energies to creating a loving home for her family and gave selflessly.

Krista was known for her kind and generous heart, fierce spirit, and her ability to always find the best in people.  Krista’s strong will and natural love of life inspired those who crossed her path and will leave a lasting impact, forever changing the people who knew her. Krista always took the time to do the little things that made people feel special.

Krista will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever live on in our hearts. She inspires us to live each day to the fullest and to love unconditionally. When you think of Krista you will hopefully be reminded of how much the smallest gesture can make someone feel loved and be inspired to do the same.

As per Krista’s wishes, there will  be a private gathering at the home of Krista and Jared on Saturday April 27th, 1-4:00 pm.
