Obituary of Louis David Measor

It is with tremendous sadness and our hearts are broken to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Louis David Measor while at his worksite in the RM of Macdonald, MB on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the age of 51 years old.

 

Louis was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan on May 10, 1973.

 

Louis is predeceased by his mother Moira Measor, his father Doug Measor, his brother John Measor and Baby Donald Measor.

 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Jodi Measor and stepson Aidan. His sister Margaret (Cory), his brother Daniel (Megan), his nieces and nephews Jonathon, Cassandra, Brooklyn, Alora, Ethan, Kaidyn and Willard, Seth.

His mother in law Daryl, sister in law Sheri  (Jason), his nephews Tyler (Tasha), Ryan (Dakotah) and we cannot forget our dog CoCo.

 

Louis truly had a heart of gold! 

 

He cherished his family and friends, they meant the world to him.

 

Louis worked for Kal Tire, he was a hard worker, loyal and committed to his job beyond words.  Louis work truck was his pride and joy.

 

Louis lit up the room and always had a quick witted joke up his sleeve, with his smiley grin and always a twinkle in his beautiful eyes we will never forget. Louis huge hugs will always be remembered.

 

Louis was so proud of his new home he just purchased with his wife Jodi. Louis and Jodi loved working around the yard and the many renovation projects they were working on,  showing everyone pictures of their renovation progress. He was so very proud of our family home!

 

Louis favorite show was Gold Rush and never missed an episode, he also loved Ozzy Osbourne and would listen to his music while relaxing on their front porch of their home.

 

Kal Tire was like a family to Louis, he loved his co-workers and enjoyed teaching the guys many helpful tips on changing tires.

 

Jodi will always hold on to the happy memories of their trip to Banff, AB in 2023. Riding the Gondola, swimming and sightseeing the beautiful mountains.  Jodi will cherish these memories forever. 

 

Louis was and always will be the love of her life.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 between 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Jodi's sisters family home.
