Obituary of Grace Marie Guiboche

With sorrow in our hearts, we announce the passing of Grace Guiboche at the tender age of 78.  

Grace passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on October 6, 2024 at the Grace hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

She leaves behind her cherished daughter Thomasina/Tammy (Hermano), and her beloved grandsons Jonathan, Joseph, Antonio, Michael, Isaiah, Christian, Nicholas, and Noah.

Also left behind to mourn is her sister Mathilda, and younger brother Edmond (Grace), numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Grace was predeceased by her parents Celestine and Rose Guiboche, her sisters Edna Beauvais, Pauline Guiboche, Irene Harvey, Margaret Slater, and Jeanine Guiboche, and in-laws.

Grace was born in St. Laurent, Manitoba and lived there until her late teens when she moved to Winnipeg to stay for the remainder of her days.

Grace enjoyed reading and doing word search puzzles but most of all loved her bingo and going to the casino with friends and family.  She had a joyful personality and liked to joke around and make people laugh with her comical sense of humour.

Grace, you will always remain in our hearts and will never be forgotten.

Cremation will be completed by Alterna Cremation.  

Celebration of Life service will take place at the Kateri Tekakwitha Parish on October 17, 2024 at 10:30 am followed by a light lunch.
