I met Sharron when we both moved to Brandon University residence as adult learners. We worked very hard in our classes and after hours; studied for our BScN when the “youngster’s” of the residence were out partying. We were the house mothers and ate our meals together in the cafeteria. Sharron was a kind, generous and wonderful friend. We had many adventures doing rural practicum, Sunday drives and visiting Sharron’s cousins and my mutual friends at the community pasture near Gladstone. Sharron was a fierce advocate for her patients and family and a strong beautiful Indigenous Woman with striking black hair. Her life was an adventure which ebbed and flowed in both intrigue and challenges. We had so many tears and so many belly laughs!!!! You left footprints on my ❤️ my friend….until we meet again.
