Obituary of Sheldon Dale Thiessen

Sheldon Dale Thiessen, aged 66, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2024, surrounded by family and friends in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Born on May 26, 1958, in Winnipeg, Sheldon lived a life marked by devotion to his family and his faith.

A loving father and husband, Sheldon embraced his role in the family with a deep sense of responsibility and care.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Thiessen, his children, Courtney and Brendan Thiessen, and his little bodyguard Dezi, who will hold dear the memory of his guiding presence.

Sheldon's life was characterized by his love for Monday Night Football, hockey, and his involvement with Gatekeepers, demonstrating his passion for sports and commitment to his faith and brothers in Christ. His faith was evident in all he did. He was so loved, and will be incredibly missed.

A celebration of life will be held at the Transcona Christian Reformed Church on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Sheldon's legacy of kindness, devotion, and faith will live on through those who knew and loved him."
