Obituary of Marsha Marie Walker

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Marsha Marie Walker, a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend on January14, 2025 at the age of 73. 

Marsha was born in Melville, Saskatchewan on March 16, 1951 to her parents Rose and Thomas McEvoy and was the baby of 13 siblings. In 1974 Marsha left Melville and moved to Winnipeg with her daughter Sandra.  

Marsha met her husband Ronald in Winnipeg, married in 1994 and blended their families.  Marsha and Ron shared nearly 30 years of marriage with each other.

Marsha was a short order cook through the years and she and her husband owned a restaurant they called “Jimmys Gourmet Grill”.  Marsha loved to joke around and loved a good laugh. In her free time, she liked to read, spend time with her family and she especially loved going to the legion for the meat draws. 

Marsha leaves behind to mourn her daughter Sandra (Mike); grandchildren Ashley, Derrick and Rylan; and step children.

Marsha was predeceased by her husband Ronald Walker and her parents Rose and Thomas McEvoy. 

A celebration of life will be held for Marsha on January 26, 2025 from 1:00 - 6:00 PM at Appleton Estates,133 Niakwa Road on the 17th floor.
