Obituary of Terry Lee Scott

With sadness, we announce that Terry Scott has died in Winnipeg on Friday, May 8, 2020. He was predeceased by his sister, Pat Down. He leaves behind his partner Ryan Fleming; daughter Mercedes Jayne (Grant); stepson Marston Fleming; and brother Don Scott (Marylou). A loyal CBC listener, Terry will be remembered as a prolific potter. A superb chef, he volunteered for years as a crew chief on La Cuisine at the Winnipeg Folk Festival. He enjoyed nature and animals by mountain biking, skiing, canoeing, and gardening. In retirement, he preferred music, books, and his family’s company. The family would like to thank the staff at Cancer Care and HSC for their compassion and care. A private ceremony will be scheduled at a later date. As Terry was deeply concerned about climate change, memorial donations can be made to an environmental cause of your choice.
