On July 28, 2020 Lynn Peters died after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 68 years. Lynn was a wonderful wife and a great companion. She was a very proud mom and Oma, a devoted daughter and a trusted friend. Left to mourn Lynn’s passing is her husband Ken; mother Alvina; sons Dan (Susie) and Jon (Jamie); grandsons Logan and Alex; as well as many extended family members and friends. Lynn was predeceased by her father Isbrand and her sister Lori.
Lynn was fiercely loyal and protective of her family. She loved us with all her heart. She was an awesome golf companion and so happy when she finally beat Ken after years of trying. Lynn loved her flower gardens, mixing in a few cucumber and tomato plants to make it more interesting. Her cooking and baking skills were exceptional. Oma’s cim buns were a must immediately upon arrival for Logan and Alex. Farmer sausage with cottage cheese perogies or kielki, sometimes both at the same time, were also high on the list each visit.
She will be deeply missed and always remembered.
In accordance with Lynn’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Flowers are graciously declined.
