Louis was our neighbour all the years we lived in Winnipeg. He truly was larger than life, generous with his snow blower, clearing our driveway before I could get to it. We took Radar, our black lab, to his obedience school. His methods may have been 'old school', but were very effective. We enjoyed his colourful language, rather descriptive at times. Our condolences to Jeanine, Suzanne and all the immediate and extended family. Len & Sharon Sawatsky

I had lost touch with Louis over the last few years. He was a great trainer, friend and neighbour. My deepest sympathies are with you

So sorry to hear of Louis' passing. We trained our labs with him at C & D and at Petland through Best Friend. He was always encouraging and strived to bring out the best in his students and their dogs.

Saddened to see you have lost Louis, I remember training with him years ago at the shepherd club. He was a dear man and a sportsman. His dog had an accident in the ring, which is an instant fail. Louis said my fault should have taken him outside first, very much a team player. May time ease the pain until you are joined again. God bless. Donna Cameron (Echo).
