Obituary of John Walter Dyck

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of John on Nov 5, 2020, at the St. Boniface Hospital, after a battle with Cancer. John lived in Winnipeg, but was originally from Horndean, Manitoba. Although a very private person, if you could get him to tell you one of his stories, you were guaranteed to be entertained. He loved the outdoors, which is probably why he worked in Construction. Left to mourn are his Wife Pauline; Brother Ben (Betty) of Morden; Sister Ruth (Lorne) of Winnipeg; Half Brother Darrell (Merle) of Cranbrook, British Columbia; and extended family. He was predeceased by his Mother Katherine Dyck; Father Henry Dyck; and, Brother Henry (Hank) Dyck. In accordance with John’s wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no formal service.
