It is with the greatest sorrow, that the Family of Skip - Wayne Craig Foltz announce of his passing on Wednesday, November 4th, 2020. He was born, raised, lived, and passed away in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Skip was 66 years old. Skip from a young age, had a love for motorcycles. When Skip was 25, he met some fellow, Harley Davidson riders, who became his Brothers, and he rode with them for several years. He also bought his 1st Harley Davidson, at that point, which he rode for many years, going to Sturgis, South Dakota for 37 years, and many other destinations as his love for wandering was strong. His ashes, as per Skip's request will be taken to Sturgis, by one of his dear friends, Mark Bray, who will also be taking one of Skip's leather jackets, so Skip can still go to Sturgis, as it was one of his most favourite places to be. Skip worked for the City of Winnipeg for many years. He then went back to school at the University of Manitoba to get his Nurses Assistant certificate to where he worked at the St. Boniface Hospital, for years. Skip is survived by his two sisters Dawn Foltz, Shelly Beaton (Foltz), and his brothers David Foltz and Shane Kiyawasew. Also, by his granddaughter, Angel Sand and his 2 grandsons, Brodie Bradburn-Randle and Troy Foltz as well as his great-granddaughter, Wynter Sand. Skip was predeceased by our wonderful Mom, Olga Foltz, his brother Lenny Foltz and his sister Sharon Wilde (Foltz) and his son Donald Foltz. Uncle Skip had many nieces and nephews - Rhonda Silvari, Michelle Benoit, Liberty Des Resroches-Dueck, Jeannine Desroches, Bryan Foltz, Cody Foltz, Denise Chartrand, Jason Chartrand, Samantha Smith and Jakob Kuzniak. There will be no funeral services at this time, but a Celebration of Skips Life will hopefully be held in September of 2021.
