Obituary of Ronald Wesley Farion

The family are heartbroken to announce his passing on Tuesday January 19, 2021, at the St. Boniface Hospital from complications of a stroke. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 44 years Bev; his daughter Robyn (Steve); grandson Kaedyn and baby on the way; son Darren and granddaughter Lindsay. He will be remembered by his sister and brother in laws Heather and Gary, Don and Linda, Lori and Bill and Cindy and Danny; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Joe and Lynne Farion; and brother Norman. Ron was born on July 18, 1941 in Erickson, Manitoba. He grew up in Sifton, Flin Flon and Brandon, Manitoba, then making a permanent home in Winnipeg. Ron worked many years in the Heat and Frost insulator trade, belonging to Local 99. Ron loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and taking care of his yard and garden. He also enjoyed watching football and hockey. Ron was a very friendly man and was always willing to help his friends and neighbours. Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service held. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the St. Boniface Hospital for the care given to him the last few months and as well, home care for the time he was able to be at home. Ron you will be missed so much and will remain in our hearts forever - Love your family.
