Dear Ev and family:
I was so sorry when Jim and Anna called to tell me about Roly’s passing. I well remember our meeting at that family reunion years ago in Bronte, when you came East! Although, these days my memory is pretty shaky! I had an accident about 5 years ago when I fell backwards off the step, and my head caught the side of my deck! Eight staples across the top of my skull left my balance pretty shaky and I’ve lost great chunks of memory! Otherwise I’m still keeping pretty well. I still live on my own, in the home Bob and I moved into in 1958. Luckily my youngest boy, Greg, just lives near, and they keep an eye on me! I have one greatgrandson at the moment, but a new greatgranddaughter is arriving in July! They also live in Deep River, we have been able to get together a few times despite all the Covid restrictions
Hope you will all stay healthy these days; I was able to get my first vaccine shot recently (at almost 96 Years, I must have been first in line when they got to the over-80’s!)
Would love to hear from you, Ev, when you can. My thoughts are with you at this time.
Love
Doreen

What an honor to share a last name with this man! I never met my grandfather (brother) but just a wink and a smile from him was enough for me! Love you guys, let's all keep that big heart growing.

The Binner brothers. They all had a huge smile and were so happy to see you any time you visited. The most welcoming crew I know. I only wish we could do half as well. Uncle Rollie will be greatly missed by all. The Winnipeg clan somehow seemed to make time to attend any Sask get together.
Thinking of you all in your time of sorrow.

What a pleasure to have known the Binner family for almost 50 years, starting as as neighbours on Menno Bay when our children were young and then to pick up when Al and Sue moved next door on Cameo Crescent years later. Rollie was the spirit of the neighbourhood on Menno Bay and an easy match for Glen Brooks. Janet was our faithful babysitter and policed the kids around the pool. Now another generation enjoys the pool next door and it has provided many opportunities for us to see Rollie and Ev over the years.
We are sure that Rollie will continue to light up the company around him and we invite Ev to come by and sit on her bench and chairs that live on.
All our love,
Lorraine and Len
