So sorry Winnipeg clan. I have many fond memories of Auntie Judy ( I still had to call her auntie) and you guys when you came to T.Bay or we visited Winnipeg.
She was a unique person for sure but her passion for life and family was ever present.
My fondest memories were during all my solo driving trips to Winnipeg. Everytime it was time to leave, Aunty Judy forced me to take a homemade lunch with me on the road. I know it was a small gesture, but to me...it kind of meant somebody was thinking about me on the long drive home.
I am glad I was a small part of Aunty Judy's and your guy's life.
Hugs and kisses from Tina and I all the way from KB Falls.

My deepest condolences to the entire Zimmer family.
I have some great cherished memories of my sister in law Judy. I remember fondly and awkwardly when Judy told me I was to call her Judy and not Aunty Judy. Wow was that weird. I was around 10 years old. She just laughed and said NOPE I'm not your Aunty... It is time you just call me Judy. It was weird... but I got used to it.
I remember fondly the visits when your family came to Thunder Bay. We always had good times together. All the family things we did visiting Kakabeka Falls, Chippewa Park and Mount Mckay. And the fun times we had at our house on Mountain Road. I remember one visit when Judy chased us kids around the yard.. while her husband (my brother Alberta), and my parents just stood laughing and watched. Those were the days.
After my dad died when I was just 15.. I spent a few weeks that summer in Winnipeg. Judy and Albert were so good to me. Judy also gave me my first professional haircut. I absolutely LOVED it. Oh and a perm too. I actually had curls for the first time in my life.
I remember fondly a few conversations Judy and I had about me not being so hard on my mom. I didn't think too much about the meaning of the conversation then... and kind of resented some of it. After all I was a teenager and knew it all. As the years went by I took to heart a lot of what Judy had told me. I had matured and the words she told me held me together.
I didn't spend much time with Judy as years went on, as we didn't come to Winnipeg that often. But the memories I have I will cherish.
I know that Judy loved her family more than anything. Cherish the memories. They will help you through the tough times.
Love to everyone from Thunder Bay. We are all thinking of you!

Hi girls, What a beautiful tribute to your mom. I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a very special person and my best friend for the past 30 some years. We had so many laughs and cries together. She sure kept me entertained. If she wasn't putting on a puppet show, she was telling funny, funny stories. I know that she'll be keeping everyone beautiful and entertained in Heaven. I sure do miss her. Be free of all your pain Judy. Take care girls.
Love Bonnie
