Obituary of Freda Jean Morin
With deeply saddened hearts, we announce the passing of Freda Morin, beloved Mother, Baba, Great-Baba.
Freda moved with her young family from Red Lake, Ontario to Ellen Street in Winnipeg, Manitoba in the early 70’s and was a proud stay home mother. For some time, she helped manage Glen’s Used Auto Sales and casually worked as a cleaner in her local community.
Freda cared tremendously for her family by providing delicious meals, taking them to countless movies, crocheting beautiful warm blankets and playing Kinsmen Jackpot Bingo with them every Saturday.
She was proud of her home, as she kept her house, yard, and garden immaculate. She enjoyed walking, going to parks with her family, and was always up for a chat with neighbours and family friends.
She liked listening to the Jets and Bomber games, doing word search, and colouring her many adult colouring books. Freda was strong willed, thoughtful, super organized, and independent to the end.
Freda was predeceased by her husband Glen and her beloved mother Stefania.
She is survived by her daughters Glenda, Theresa, and Monica (Charles); grandchildren Nicole (John), Brooke, Nataloy, and AJ; and great grandchildren Sarah and Valentin.
Freda’s memory and spirit will stay in our hearts forever.
We pray that her soul finds everlasting peace and eternal love.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
She will be greatly missed.
Love you Mom, Baba, Great-Baba.
