Irene, Ciocia Mary, Ed, and family, we are so deeply sorry for your loss. We might not have been as close to Wally in our adult years, but there is always this feeling of family when we think of the Rowinskis. He will always be a part of our memories. A couple of years ago, Violetta had shared with us that she remembered Wally and Eddie often drove her home from high school and were there to protect her as she navigated being a new student in Canada. She told the story with a fond remembrance of how much she appreciated Wally’s kindness. We understand that Wally has found peace now, but we also know just how very much he will be missed. Please know we are thinking of you during this difficult time and are sending all of you heartfelt condolences. Love Irena, Ilona, Dorothy and Natalia Kolber, and Tom and Jackie Hauptkorn.

Wally Rowinski I am so sorry to hear of your passing. My sympathies to your family. It’s so hard to say good by to a friend of many years. We had a lot of great times together from cheering on the Bombers and Jets, kicking a football through the uprights in the field by Margret Grant pool, working together at Zellers and playing video games late night to the wee small hours of the next morning.Your friendship was so appreciated when we went on a trip to SouthDakota in a motor home to see Mt Rushmore . My heart goes out to your family especially your mom Mary who introduced me to apply for a job that ended up lasting 32 years. I wish health and happiness to your siblings and children Rest In Peace my friend You will be missed by many Ken Walker
