From Polson Avenue to Winnipeg Beach she was the greatest cook and always welcoming since I was a little girl.
So many special memories of all the special and fun times had with her and our families..... there were so many especially her love for laughing and dancing!!!!
She was like an Aunty to me and she will be greatly missed and never forgotten!
I am thankful to have had her in my life for so many years.
Deepest Condolences Cathy & Family....

She will always be with us at family gatherings in spirit and in stories. I fondly remember perogy making with Ollie, Bob and myself and their bantering on who is the better pincher. So many great memories ❤️ (Sylvia BYDAK)

So sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing, Cathy. Loved your Memorial Video & seeing your Mom & Dad!! Your Mom had the Best Smile!! Loved her Laugh!! So many wonderful memories come flooding back, especially at the cottage. The chipmunks were always well fed by the endless supply of peanuts!! I always enjoyed our visits & then telephone chats with your Mom. Cherish all those wonderful memories you shared together!! Take comfort knowing your Mom & Dad are reunited!! xoxo Darcy

Dear Cathy
As long as I remember, the Chelada’s were very special and a big part of our entire family. Uniquely, the Roykos’ (Gloria) shared that special friendship as a Polson neighbour to your family; creating an even broader bond. Destiny and the good Lord work in such mysterious ways.
Where do I begin to tell you how impactful your Mom has been in our lives. I can still hear your Mom’s patented laughter or when shaping the conversation how she was able to lift that one eyebrow and give us the stare ! She was a very special person to us, always being the first to support us in sad times and initiating that special moment to celebrate good times. I still think about the baby shower Aunty Ollie hosted for Gloria. She also had a special touch ~ as a very young boy she mesmerized me with her masterful head massages ! A lasting memory was to bring our children frequently to see your Mom and Dad, it was special for us to see their eyes light up. Who could ever forget that annual handing out of Halloween candies through their front door creating those historical annual photos that we cherish. Aunty Ollie was a very special to us, her generosity, caring and big personality will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace Aunty Ollie

My dear god daughter Cathy
Your Mom was my beautiful friend and adopted sister. We always called one another sis. Our friendship started back when Ted was with CAE and he and Ollie worked together. Both of us would dance together when no male partners were available. I am so sad for her passing but take comfort that she will be with Chuck.
Love Peg (Shaman)
