Terry, Jeffrey, Stacey and Lindsey,
We were so so sad to hear this news. He was always so kind, caring and generous. I’m so grateful that I got to grow up knowing him and that Lynden did too. Lynden loved going out to visit with Grandpa and he always came back with some kind of treasure. He still has his bags of hockey cards from Uncle Lawrence and we pulled them out on the weekend to look through them. You are all in our thoughts and in our hearts. Sending lots of love.

Terry, Jeffrey, Stacey and Lindsey,
My condolences to your family. I will remember Lawrence's warm, friendly manner, his quick wit and his quiet kindness - a basket of strawberries, a neglected chair restored without even asking. With deep sympathy,
Tannis

We want to express our heartfelt sympathy to Terry and her family on the sad occasion. Lawrence will be sorely missed by both of us. He was a friend with a great sense of humour and always had interesting stories to tell. Hal and Lawrence became acquainted about 20 years ago on one of our bi-annual trips to Winnipeg. The four of us often met for a meal where we had a lot of laughs and good times. Lawrence would sometimes surprise us with fresh produce from the farm. On other occasions, Lawrence and Hal would head off for lunch and antique shopping for one of Lawrence's many collections. Our future visits to Winnipeg will never be the same without seeing his friendly smile and hearing his laughter.
Love, Debbie and Hal

Terry, Jeffrey, Stacey, and Lindsey,
I was so sorry to hear of Lawrie's passing. Jadyn and I spent a lot of time at the farm with you both, Terry. Such great memories! Our teasing back and forth of our constant travels! Such a kind and easy going man. I'm sure he will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have met him. Love to you all!

It is with sorrow that I heard of Lawrence’s passing. My most heartfelt condolences to his dear family and friends.
The Patons were our closest neighbours and my parents closest friends when we lived in Marquette. I have old and fond memories of visits to their farm and of attending many community events in their company. After my parents moved and over the years, Lawrence always made a point of keeping in touch. He shared his parents friendly, kind and thoughtful ways.
Rest In Peace. A life well lived.
With affection, Marianne Preun ( Riese).

Condolences to Terry and family. Lawrence was a part of our family when I was a young teenager. Being Ted’ s best friend he was like an older brother to me. He always showed an interest in my life over the years and whenever we met he would show genuine and sincere interest in what was going on in my life. He talked about his family and it was clear they were the highlight of his life. A great man who will be missed but never forgotten.

Deepest sympathy to Terry and family.
Lawrence was a great person. I have known him all his life. His parents and mine were neighbors on the farm, and were the best of friends. Lawrence was so friendly, cheerful and helpful. I was always so glad to see him at the annual St Paul's church service.
He will be greatly missed.

I’m so sorry to hear of Mr Paton’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Mr Paton was a sweet and kind man. My fondest memories of him were driving Lindsey and I around to all the different neighbouring farmers on Halloween whether in rain or snow.
