Obituary of Kathryn Anna Mary Kirby

It is with a broken heart that I announce my beautiful wife, best friend, and our navigator of our life, Kathy, passed away peacefully in my arms at home on Monday, January 10, 2022. Kathy was a very private, intelligent, kind, and classy lady. Kathy took great pride in any task she set out to do. She enjoyed working all her life, mostly in a manufacturing environment. Kathy appreciated the many experiences and wonderful people she encountered over the many years. Kathy enjoyed our many trips and cruises over the years but especially enjoyed our twelve winter trips to Palm Springs. Once retired, painting, photography, reading, and making up new recipes filled a great deal of her time. Getting together with close friends and family was very important to her. She especially looked forward to the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners with Craig, Jan and the girls and our New Years eves with Roger and Joyce. Kathy and I would like to thank family, close friends, and neighbours for all their support and prayers through this trying time. We would also like to thank our Family Doctor, Colin Fletcher for his wonderful care and compassion over the many years. Thanks also to the palliative care team for their care and compassion. In keeping with Kathy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there be no service. A celebration of Kathy’s life with family and friends will be held at a later date when safe to do so. 4EVERUS - I love you forever. Ian
