Tania was part of our lives from the time I was born. Living across the back lane, we were often at Auntie Doris & Uncle George’s, so our families were intertwined. Tania babysat my brother Tom, my sister Teresa & me, either at our house or hers. Being 12 years older than me, I always looked up to Tania, and thought she was so beautiful. One memory was Tania lounging in a chair in her backyard, elegantly smoking her cigarette. I must have stared a lot because she gave me a puff of her cigarette (which put me off smoking for life!!), so thank you, Tania.
