Aunt Ina was beautiful to me, kind and generous with a great sense of humour. With 7 of her own children to care for she always made me feel loved and welcome as we, the Hieberts spent a lot of time in the Schellenberg home. Aunt Ina and my mom were both pregnant at the same time with Jeff and Trev in the scorching heat of August. No one had air conditioning at the time and they were trying to stay cool and somewhat comfortable. I remember Aunt Ina laughing her way through it. Her laughter was contagious when telling me about the time she had fallen by the roadside and couldn’t get up because she had broken or twisted her leg and had to just wait on the ground for someone to come by. She was very creative in accomplishing her goals: when new carpeting was needed she let us all eat chocolate cake in the living room. My dad loved his sister and so did I. I’m so grateful for all the wonderful memories. May the peace of God wash over you all. Connie
