I’m deeply saddened to learn of Louise’s passing…and extend heartfelt condolences to her loved ones. Louise and I volunteered together in the adult EAL program for newcomers to Winnipeg/Canada. I didn’t know her well, but we’d connect once a week before and after our “work” with our students. I’m grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing Louise at least a little, and through her obituary have come to know a bit about what an interesting life she had. Whenever we met, I found her to be always happy and smiling, warm and welcoming, and ready for fun. I’m so sorry for your loss…. May her memory be a blessing…
