Obituary of David Ross Ayden

Sorrowfully, David Ross Ayden (79) passed away peacefully on July 4, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. He is survived by his brother Dennis (Bonnie) of St. Louis; his nieces Erin (of Vancouver) and Brooke (Jen); and grand-nephews Tim and Connor (of St Louis). He was predeceased by his parents Jack and Mae Ayden. David was born in Regina, but lived most of his life in Winnipeg with early school years in Dauphin, Manitoba. After university, he worked for many years with Reynolds and Reynolds in Winnipeg and Toronto as an IT specialist. Subsequent to retirement, Dave lived at Revera Portsmouth in Tuxedo where he was an active participant in that community. Dave was a quiet man who will be remember for his dry sense of humor, thoughtfulness, kindness and willingness to assist others. Over the years, Dave was a fisherman, a sports enthusiast, a music lover, a poker player, a traveler and a volunteer. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by many.
