Obituary of John Cameron Hunt

Jack passed away peacefully at his home in Sanford on July 1, 2022 at the age of 68. He is survived by his brothers Jim (Jan), Dave (Adele), Don (Janice), Rick (Dawn); sisters Marilyn (Dave), Debbie (Warren); sister-in-law Lori; and by numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents Maggie and Ted Hunt; brothers Doug and Gary; and niece Jolene. Jack lived in Sanford all his life. In his younger days he was involved in many sports including baseball, hockey, basketball and golf. One of his most cherished memories was the years he spent playing hockey with his four younger brothers. Jack enjoyed many hunting trips in Reston with family and friends. He also looked forward to annual fishing trips to Dauphin River and Lake of the Prairies with his brothers and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Sanford Cemetery on Wednesday July 20, 2022. Lunch will follow at the Sanford Legion.
