Obituary of Kelly Victor Joseph Grandpre

It is with great sadness that we announce peacefully after a brief illness Kelly Victor Joseph Grandpre passed away at the age of 69 years in his home in Teulon, Manitoba on August 23, 2022. Left to cherish his memory is son Derek, of Calgary Alberta; daughter Shannon Kiyan (Jason); grandchildren Samanth Smith and Melisa Kiyan; great grandchild Wyatt Smith; brothers Philip (Betty Anne) and Drake (Debbie); sisters Marjorie Fortier (Rene); Cheryl Gauthier (Selwyn) and Linda Clarke (Dave); and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Kelly was predeceased by his mother Theresa; father Phillip; brother Kerry; sister Caroline and sweet dog Baby. Kelly was born on December 28, 1952 in Winnipeg. Kelly worked in construction in the summer and in the winter he spent many nights plowing the streets. Winnipeg was Kelly’s home, but he also loved his home in Teulon for the last fifteen years. Kelly enjoyed golfing, spending the day on his bike (always making sure he has extra cash lying around for his speeding tickets), watching any sports channel until he got tired of the talking heads. He could tell you about any old western movie and anything about its’ cast. We thank the Prior family for your help and friendship over the years. Thank you, Ken and Ted, for your help and friendship. A Celebration of Life will be held September 4, 2022 at 2:00 pm at his residence in Teulon, Manitoba, 90 First Avenue N.E.
