Obituary of Ken Strong

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law and Uncle Ken at the age of 72. He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife Sandy of 42 years; his five sisters Pat (Ron), Grace (Jim), Deannie (Lee), Donna and Marj (Denny); mother-in-law Erna; sister-in-law Brenda (Rory); brother-in-law Larry; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ken was born in Clinton, Ontario on November 29, 1949. He moved to Winnipeg with his wife Sandy in 1981. Ken had a lengthy career in the trucking industry both in Ontario and in Winnipeg. Ken worked for TriMac and later at Gardewine as an owner operator for over thirty years. Truck on to Heaven! We would like to thank the staff at both the Grace Hospital and Health Sciences Centre for the care and comfort they provided. Rest in Peace. A private service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ken’s name to Cancer Care Manitoba. Until we meet again. Love Sandy
