Obituary of Barry Robert Poersch

With great sadness on the evening of October 23, 2022, minutes after family members had left his side, Barry Robert Poersch, 75 years, took his last breath after a short battle with cancer. Barry, who was a very strong willed and a private individual lived life on his own terms and never wanted to bother others. He, on two occasions, performed CPR saving the life of a friend and that of a stranger showing the humane and caring side in contrast to his tough exterior. Barry left behind numerous family and friends all of which will greatly miss him. A special thanks to the nurses and support staff at the Misericordia Cornish 2 for the care and love they provided to Barry during his lengthy stay. A private gathering to celebrate Barry's life to follow at a later date. As Barry always said " KEEP YOUR STICK ON THE ICE"
