Sandra, Alison, Hilary, and families, I am sorry to hear of Dale’s passing. I have fond memories of working with him on many gymnastic events so many years ago. He was a gentleman and his sense of humour was always appreciated. I particularly remember the Pacific Alliance Gymnastics Championship in 1998 when Dale was in charge of the volunteers who were driving visitors from other countries who were judging or competing. I was one of his drivers. I told him that I had driven the President of Colombia, Gymnastics Association, and for years after that Dale would introduce me to other volunteers at various gymnastic events as “the man who drove the President of Colombia, Gymnastics Association” and then we would all have a good laugh.
