Because he was one of my brother Russ's closest friends for over 50 years, I got to know Glenn pretty well. While at first I grouped him as "a friend of my brother," over time, it was clear that Glenn was very much my friend too. I rarely meet anyone who loves to be hospitable to friends as much as Glenn, and our group of friends had many very happy get-togethers on his back patio and in the house when the weather wasn't ideal. I could see that Glenn took pride in everything he did and cared for his home and life. The awards and memorabilia in his office show the joy he took in swimming and teaching, and he was always one to reach out if you needed help. Last winter he facilitated a lot of my filming in Winnipeg in the coldest of temperatures, and I'm happy that you will be able to see him for years on that episode of Outta Town Adventures (Prime Video) about Winnipeg and Milwaukee! Thanks for your friendship, Glenn, as it has meant so much over the years. We will all miss you so very much and will think of you often. Rest in joy!
