Obituary of Gerald John Tereck

On February 27, 2023, Jerry Tereck, beloved husband of Tammy passed away at the Health Sciences Centre after a hard fought battle with cancer, at the age of 64 years. Besides his wife of fifteen years, Jerry will also be greatly missed by daughter Melissa (Jay) and grandson Kurt; step-daughter Amber Forbes (Koray); brothers Ken (Jackie), Ron (Eva) and Robby (Denise); sister Jeanne; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jerry will also be fondly remembered by his Air Canada Family. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Amelia (NEE Byrne) in 2010; and sister Katherine in 2008. Jerry worked for Air Canada for over forty years. He was a true outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, hunting, quadding and gardening. He especially enjoyed the Air Canada Fly-Out Fishing Trip every spring with his work buddies. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
