Sue and I go way back to our teenage years. When Sue's parents went away on vacation I'd often stay over and we had alot of fun! Her parents were very generous & gracious. Sue's Mom created and sewed my wedding dress in 1981. Even though many decades have since passed and we both were busy in different ways, I'll always remember our fun times as teenagers. Our Condolences to Howie and Sue's brothers, David & Doug & family. Cathy & Russ Krawetz (nee: Simpson)

Sue and I connected to visit an old friend who left us too early. I will always remember our wonderful river boat ride Howard and Sue gave us. Sue always had a lot of spunk and enjoyed life to the fullest with music a big passion, you will be missed....

My memories of Susan are the connection we had over music, dancing and vintage clothing. I’ll never forget singing “Delilah” in Howard’s sound booth with Susan and Deri (why, why, why Delilah?) so when Tom Jones came to town, we had to go! Susan was super fun and easy to hang out with, even though we didn’t see each other that often. I hope she’s dancing and singing to some awesome tunes up in heaven. Deepest condolences to Howard and family.

Susan had this contagious laugh that always got me, she was an amazing lady that cared deeply for others (unless they pissed her off! then forget it! ) she had a great sense of humour and a great wit often surpassing Howards! She was always welcoming and went out of her way to be kind and helpful. She had been there for life's moments when I could not, cheerfully breaking Covid protocols to deliver my daughters 16th birthday present to her. She is sorely missed, She and Howard have been constant best friends throughout the years that you can count on when the chips were down. You were taken before your time. We all miss you. You have touched so many and were such a special lady. Love you Sue!

What can I say about my friendship with Susan? She was more like a sister, and I strove to achieve the care and compassion, intelligence and wit that came to Susan so easily. Her sense of style, her endless love of all animals, and her laugh - I will forever embrace. Our makeovers where we had so much fun; Susan getting me hooked on the ‘Crazy Cat Lady’ figurines; bitching about work and life in general; boat rides; and a shoulder to cry on. Soar high, my friend. We will keep your memory here as you wish us to and you are in the hearts of all who knew you. It’s been a privilege to know you.

Susan & I caused some trouble on Victoria Ave. growing up. Got caught smoking along with other trouble we found along the way. Susan made me a beautiful acorn Christmas wreath I will cherish. We had a lovely visit with Ted before he passed & enjoyed a dinner while catching up (it had been a while). RIP Susan, thanks for the memories. Condolences to Howard, David, Doug & their families

I met Susan over 20 years ago, I knew instantly that we would be friends. Although we did not get together more than 2 or 3 times a year, each time I saw her it was like no time has passed. I admire her passion and energy and sense of fun! She is a beautiful spirit that will be sorely missed!

I live next door to Susan and Howard and a number of years ago before I knew Susan well my daughter Rhonda was visiting during the summer and we were in the backyard from where you could see into Susan’s living room. Rhonda exclaimed that there was a skeleton on my neighbours couch. Reasonably enough I told my daughter she was seeing things. As I came to know Susan better I realized she loved goth and indeed did have a fake skeleton as part of her decor.
Always enjoyed chatting with Susan and admired her flamboyant clothing styles which we discussed frequently. Susan was fun, interesting ,generous and kind. She will be missed!
