Obituary of Charlene Kay Aitkens

It is with profound sadness that the family of Charlene Aitkens announce she peacefully passed away on Friday March 3, 2023 at the age of 72. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Tracy (Henry) and Tanya; grandchildren Arthur and Christian; brother Kelvin; other family; and friends. Mom held close her family and would always check in. Whether it be a long conversation or a short hello she was always there to talk and see how everyone was. She was known as being very friendly and would start a conversation with anyone she crossed paths with. She will be forever loved and her presence will be missed dearly. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place and a family internment at Brookside cemetery will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if desired donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
