Oma, my heart is heavy with the weight of grief as I try to come to terms with your passing. Your love, laughter, and kindness made my world a brighter place, and I am forever grateful for the memories we shared.
You were more than just my Oma, you were my teacher and mentor, helping me learn the German language, comparing notes on the best mushroom hunting spots, providing gardening tips and introducing me to the beauty of Lester Beach. You had a unique gift for making me laugh until my ribs hurts, and I will miss that more than words can express.
Your German roots gave us not only a taste for Jägermeister but also a rich heritage that will always be part of our family's story. It's hard to imagine a world without your comforting presence, but I find solace knowing you're reunited with Opa and watching over us.
