Brian was a very special person. I met Brian the first year I moved to the Coast, 1997. Brian was generous to a fault and could bake and cook so well! He was the only person I knew with a bread maker. We had a lot of the same friends, and I will cherish the times we spent together. A group of about eight of us went camping to Thoramby Island one summer....I thought I had been dropped into heaven! It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, and the experience unforgettable. I remember we had so much food and supplies, more than we needed, and all of it had to be passed hand over hand from the boat to the shore. It was all so much fun! Brian of course jumped in, was helpful about everything, and helpful to everyone....as that was the kind of person he was. I knew when I saw him last, helping load things into the truck when he was leaving to move back to Winnipeg, that it would be the final time. I am so glad he is not suffering anymore ...I hated seeing and hearing that. Brian deserves to run with the angels! He deserves to be free and to feel joy and love. I think that is what is happening now. Bless his loving family, being there to support him through life, and at the end. Love always, April
