Obituary of Bill McCluskey

After a long health battle, William “Bill” Thomas James McCluskey passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 30th at 11:27 pm surrounded by his family. He was 67 years old. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia (Deighton); daughters Shannon Sellar ( Chris), Trisha-Lee Guenette (Dave); son Preston (Sandy); and siblings Sharon, Bob and Barry. He had many grandchildren whom he adored (and spoiled with pockets full of candy), Kaia (Andy), William, Cohen, Gavin, Talon, Landon, and Tessa. He was predeceased by his son "Billy" and parents Gordon and Betty. He was a man with many hobbies such as fishing/boating, camping, riding ATVs, snowmobiling, etc. If you knew him, you knew he always had a screwdriver in his hand. For over half of his life, he was a proud truck driver, he was so good we are pretty sure he could drive his semi with his eyes closed. To honour his memory, we will hold a Celebration of Life on Sunday, May 7, 2023, between the hours of 12:00 to 5:00 pm. Please feel free to drop in at Patricia's home, Winnipeg MB. Bill, Dad, Papa, Goat, the most stubborn Irishman, we all came to love will be deeply missed.
