Obituary of George Kowalyk

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George Kowalyk at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg on April 30, 2023 at the age of 81 years.

He leaves behind his daughter Rhonda; grandson Jason; son Vincent (Velma); step grandchildren; great grandchildren; sister Helen Koterla; and brother Rudy Kowalyk.

George was predeceased by his son Mark in 2021.

Dad lived in Poplarfield, Manitoba in his early years, then moved to Winnipeg with his family. 

He worked as a truck driver until his retirement.

Dad’s passion was going out dancing.

I would like to thank the Convalescent Home Staff on the 2^nd floor for their wonderful care.

As per George’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.
