Harvey James Maxwell, a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2023, at the age of 80.
Harvey was born in Welwyn, Saskatchewan, to parents Calvin and Luella Maxwell. He grew up in a loving family and was known for his gentle nature, creativity, and skilled hands. Harvey had a deep love for his family and was a private person who cherished his time spent with loved ones.
In 1968, Harvey married the love of his life, Carole Crump, and together they raised three children on the family farm. Harvey was a devoted husband and Dad, always putting his family first. He was a role model to his children and grandchildren, and they looked up to him for his quiet leadership, high morals, intuition, and trusted guidance.
Harvey was a well-travelled man who enjoyed exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. He was an avid collector of clocks, enjoyed airplanes, and had a passion for helping others. His Scottish heritage was important to him, and he took great pride in his ancestry.
Throughout his life, Harvey was known for his wit, great listening skills, and work ethic. He enjoyed dancing to country music, playing the guitar, and listening to the radio. He was a valued member of his community, and his contributions will be sorely missed.
