I'm saddened to hear of Debbi's passing. I was fortunate to have had Auntie Debbi in my life during her married years. As a child/young teen, I looked up to her as my 'cool' aunt. I fondly remember her at our numerous Sunday family dinners and holiday gatherings...her love of coffee, red lipstick (always left behind on the mugs) and cigarettes; her open mouthed silent laughter, fashion advice, and stories of young Jesse and Emma. Extra special excursions with Debbi include family days at Patricia Beach (somehow we squeezed all 6 of us into our tiny Datsun!), Saturday dinners at the apartment on Ruby listening to records and visiting with the cats (Scooter), and trips to the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
My condolences to all those who loved and were loved by Debbi.
