I'm so sorry to hear the passing of Wayne, he absolutely loved people, I had the pleasure of meeting him through my place of employment, StandardAero, he would come and pump out our tanks, always joking, on multiple occasions he would say he loved his job because of the people he met daily, he was one of a kind, thank you Wayne for some good laughs, my condolences to his family and prayers.

My deepest condolences to Wayne’s family. I had the honour and privilege to work with Wayne through my workplaces in Safety and Environment. He had a heart of gold and was a joy to work with. His upbeat personality and laugh will be missed. And I regret not being able to connect and go for a bike ride. We kept saying we would. I was shocked to hear the news and my prayers and thoughts go out to the family.

Wayne and I were classmates throughout primary school, one of only a couple of kids that could beat me in a sprint half the time’ it seemed. I looked forward to playing sports with Wayne everyday at school. I moved away for a decade and we happened to meet up in our early twenties when he was hauling out from my parents septic field one winter. He was the first guy we knew from school who had a real job and could buy his own home. Wayne proved early in adult life that, even if you didnt get the best marks in school, a little wisdom and a lot of hard work and commitment can go a long way in life, much to the benefit of his family and those around him.

Wayne, Wayne, Wayne !!!!
What an absolute original and awesome guy!!! So vibrant, enterprising and ready to share a laugh with you. I am grateful for how accepting he and his entire family have been of Kyle and our family. Your character shines through Leanne, Mandy, Kristy, Danielle and is a tribute to you. Family and good friends meant so much. May a HUG be a reminder he is wrapping his arms around you. Thank you Wayne for sharing your happy smile with us.
Love and Prayers for Wayne and his family.
